MANUEL BORRAZ QUARTET
Manuel Borraz presents his latest album, Perseverance, featuring three outstanding musicians from the national scene: Álvaro del Valle, Ander García, and Fran Gayo. This quartet represents a contemporary jazz project that reflects Manuel Borraz’s personal and original perspective. In this release, Borraz offers eight compositions built around beautiful melodies, modern harmonies, complex structures, and a vibrant rhythmic vision.
The quartet has already participated in various events, including series such as Dinamizartj, performances at the University of León in the Teatro Albeitar, and the Madrid Jazz Festival, among others.

Manuel has toured Europe and Asia, performing at venues like the Shanghai Concert Hall, the International Festival of Shenzhen and Guangzhou in China, the Kirsten Kjærs Museum and the Konzertkirche in Copenhagen, Denmark, Klang Basel, ZeitRäume, Attaca, and Mimiko Festival in Switzerland, as well as at Fernando Fernán Gómez, the National Auditorium, Sala Berlanga, Clamores, Bogui Jazz, Galileo Galilei, the Madrid Jazz Festival, among others. LOVE AT THE SPANISH VANGUARD FEAT ARIEL BRINGUEZ
Repost from Sala Berlanga and Fundación SGAE
Manuel Borraz, with extensive experience performing in national and international auditoriums and premieres with various ensembles as both leader and sideman, opens Far Out Jazz with original, never-before-performed compositions alongside Ariel Bringuez on saxophone, Álvaro del Valle on guitar, bass, and electronics, Marc Pinyol on drums & FX, and Borraz on piano and keyboards. The project is further enhanced by the live inclusion of interactive visuals by Marcos Fernández aka Catmac. This adventure stems from jazz tradition but, through improvisation, contemporary and free jazz, and current electronic language, it fully immerses itself in the avant-garde.
